About Michelle:
Michelle is the Director of Claims Administration for an industry leading managed healthcare support contractor for the US Department of Veteran’s Affairs.  She provides strategic leadership for core claims systems, data management, and claims operations.  Michelle has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years and held positions ranging from day to day operations, analytics, quality oversight, and operations management. 
About "Staying Relevant":
You worked hard to get here…  now what?  Really! You had to roll up your sleeves and learn the ins and outs of the business.  Now, you understand the business’s needs.  You can speak between the processes and the technology, write requirements, test plans, and solution documents.  Some may say most importantly you empathetically understand your customer.  NOW it is critical that your customer hears and sees the fruits of your labor.  Ask yourself “Did you bring them along on your journey?”.
About the World Cafe:
There will be 4 stations hosted by 2-3 BlueShield Business Analysts. They will focus on a BABOK Knowledge Area and discuss their role and involvement in a project with a focus on the relevant skills and tools they used to be successful. They will also cover any important lessons learned along the way. These sessions are meant to be interactive, so questions are encouraged. The four Knowledge Areas covered are:

• Requirements Lifecycle Management
• Strategy Analysis
• Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring
