President
Traves Holland
Traves grew up moving around the southeastern US, attending high school in Augusta GA. After high school he obtained his undergraduate degree at University of Miami (FL), double majoring in Business Administration and International Finance & Marketing.
He started working roles requiring analytics when he moved out to California in 2006 and continued ever since.
Traves has been part of the Chapter Board since 2022 as the Board's Secretary. He has taken on the Board President position to continue his activity and explore a new role in our Chapter.
Currently, Traves is a Sr. Business Data Analyst working in the Vision Care Business Intelligence department at VSP. Traves has worked at VSP for 11 years. Two of his favorite responsibilities as a business analyst is data mining and root cause analysis.

Bob Guarino
Bob Guarino has served on the IIBA SVC board since 2016. He lives in El Dorado Hills and has worked at Blue Shield of California (BSC) for the past 13 years. Prior to that, he worked an Elevance (Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield) for 26 years. At Elevance, Bob held a wide variety of roles, starting as a programmer, progressing through increasingly challenging analyst and project lead positions, and eventually managing an IT staff.
At BSC, Bob has led a team of Business Analysts working on a major system replacement effort. Most recently, he is performing analytical and requirements gathering efforts for the Product Development Management team.
Bob holds an MBA from the University of New Haven and has a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Vu Nguyen
Vu is dedicated to delivering quality technology services with integrity and reliability. He has 5+ years’ experience in providing technology and workforce consulting services. As a Technical Recruiter with Experis, Vu assists candidates in finding opportunities that match their unique skillsets. He stays informed with industry trends by participating in professional conferences as well as continually speaking with top talent to understand technological trends and enjoys being a subject matter expert in the recruitment industry.
His industry experience includes state and local government, healthcare, education, technology, insurance, manufacturing, and logistics.
He has a passion for people, technology and the development of people’s careers paths and delivering a meaningful experience for his candidates
Vice President (VP) of Education & Professional Certification
Diana Ndubuisi
Diana has nearly ten years of Business Analyst experience with the State of California within the domains of healthcare, government, and managed care compliance. She also has worked as a project manager on multiple website creation initiatives for non-profits.
Diana a degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University and has a background in international education, having previously taught English as a Second Language in Japan and South Korea.
She is an active crafter and baker and enjoys exploring the outdoors in Northern California.

Steve Hewitt
Steve Hewitt has worked as a Senior Business Analyst at VSP for the past nine years and has been a Senior Product Owner at VSP for the last year.
Prior to joining VSP, he spent 17 years with Sprint as a Business & Workforce Planning Analyst. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources from California State Sacramento and is Green Belt certified in Lean Six Sigma.
Steve is passionate about leveraging his experience and skills to support the Sacramento Valley Chapter’s mission and vision. Outside of work, Steve has two adult children – a Sophomore at Folsom Lake College and a graduate from Sonoma State University. He and his wife run a small business in Folsom & Cameron Park.

Treasurer
Trish Frederick
This is Trish Frederick’s first year serving on the IIBA SVC board as Treasurer. She lives in Folsom and has worked at Blue Shield of California (BSC) for about 10 years. During Trish’s career she has had the opportunity to travel across the country implementing solutions that assists government agencies in managing their permitting (planning, building, and business) and code enforcement operations. Trish also managed a neighboring fire district’s technology department.
At Blue Shield of California Trish has worked as a Business/Systems Analyst supporting claims processing, product development, and customer experience. Trish currently works as an administrator for BSCs project portfolio management solution.
Trish holds a Batchelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, as wells as, the following certifications:

Tony S Oliver
Tony S Oliver is a Senior Manager, Medicaid PMO, with Aetna (a CVS Health Company). He has two decades of experience in business process improvement, supply chain/demand planning, pricing, marketing, product development, and project management with stints at VSP, Intel, Cisco Systems, AMS (now CGI), and as a freelance consultant.
He teaches for the UC Davis (project management), UC Berkeley (project management and business analysis), and UCLA (six sigma) extension programs. He was recognized as the Intel 2015 Instructor of the Year for his courses on project management, storytelling, and presentation skills and received the 2018/2019 University of California-Davis School of Continuing Education "Outstanding Service Award" for Best Instructor.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Georgetown University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, a certificate in pricing from the University of California-Berkeley, the Project Management Professional (PMP®) and the Risk Management Professional (RMP®) certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance®, the Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from the American Society for Quality™ (ASQ), the Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from the Acuity Institute, the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP™) certification from the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), the Change Management Professional Certification from the Acuity Institute, and the Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) certification from Toastmasters International.
He is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French, Catalonian, Italian, and Portuguese. Tony serves as the president of the Georgetown University Alumni Club of Sacramento and the chair of the Sacramento chapter of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR)
Tony lives in Folsom, CA with his wife Kristine and their daughter Penny, and enjoys reading, writing, volunteering, and all things baseball. He traces his inquisitive mind to an early love for reading, a flame that has yet to extinguish.

Turab Saleh Fatakdawala
Turab is a Senior Product Manager with PowerSchool. He has been volunteering for the IIBA Sacramento Valley Chapter as the Webmaster and handling all technology activities for the past eight years.
He is an Engineer, has his MBA, and loves the Education industry where all his work experience lies.
He actively supports Boy Scouts of America as an Assistant Scout Master and regularly donates with Vitalant.
